As General Counsel for companies in a broad range of industries, Michael brings his unique perspective and insight to clients' strategic and tactical business and legal issues. He has successfully negotiated thousands of domestic and international operational and transaction agreements in all phases of a company's lifecycle.  He's been in those meetings, faced those questions and works with your team to find the right path - effectively balancing risks, rewards and objectives among customers, vendors and stakeholders.     

Michael is a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center and the University of Texas at Austin, McCombs School of Business.  He is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Texas and Dallas Bar Association and an active participant in many civic, community and professional organizations, often serving on their governing boards and special committees.

An avid sports and music fan, Michael plays guitar and ice hockey and never misses a UT football game.  He is a ravenous student of the business side of sports and entertainment, fascinated by emerging technologies, embraces the entrepreneur's spirit and seeks out a wide range of information, viewpoints and opinions on business and legal issues and the topics of the day.

Michael is married and has twin daughters, all of whom turn a blind eye to his love of Oreos, Blue Bell and BBQ.
